Buying a Home:

AFGE members that finance a home purchase with a Union Plus® Mortgage provided by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage will receive a $500 My Mortgage Gift^SM award from Wells Fargo after closing*. And, Union Plus® Mortgage Program customers are eligible for special hardship assistance.

Refinancing Your Mortgage:

AFGE members can use the Union Plus program to refinance and benefit from low rates and  unique union protection. AFGE families that refinance their mortgage with an AFGE Union Plus® Mortgage provided by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage will receive a $500 My Mortgage Gift^SM award from Wells Fargo after closing.^*

Parents and children of union members are also eligible for Union Plus mortgages.

Mortgage Assistance in Times of Need:

If you’ve had a Union Plus Mortgage for at least one year – and you’re facing income loss due to disability, layoff or strike – you may be eligible for unique mortgage assistance, including no-interest loans and grants.

* Eligible individuals can receive the Wells Fargo My Mortgage Gift^SM promotion approximately 6 weeks after closing on a new purchase or refinance loan secured by a first mortgage or deed of trust with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (“New Loan”), subject to qualification, approval and closing, when identifying themselves as eligible. The My Mortgage Gift^SM promotion is not available with any Wells Fargo Three-Step Refinance SYSTEM^® program, The Relocation Mortgage Program^® or to any Wells Fargo team member. Only one award permitted per new loan. This promotion cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount or rebate.
